Bitterfeld-Wolfen, 18th February 2010 - Q-Cells SE, one of the world's largest photovoltaics companies with headquarters in Bitterfeld-Wolfen in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, is offering a total of 35 training places in the industrial/technical and commercial areas for the training year 2010/2011. The following seven training occupations are being offered to interested school-leavers in 2010: mechatronics engineer, electronics engineer for automation systems, IT specialist, physics laboratory technician, chemistry laboratory technician, store logistics specialist and industrial clerk.

Young people can experience first hand at "Solar Valley Thalheim" how we are developing photovoltaics step-by-step into a major source of energy. We provide our trainees with training of the highest standard in ten optimally equipped subject units. Only recently was one of our trainees honoured as Best of Year by the HalleDessau Chamber of Industry and Trade. That makes us very proud."
Since 2007, Q-Cells SE has had its own 2,500-m² training centre where young people are trained in various occupations. At the moment there are 138 trainees at Q-Cells.
