Bitterfeld-Wolfen, 9. The certificates will be presented today to the graduates by Minister of Finance, Dr Reiner Haseloff, at Q-Cells in the Solar Valley Thalheim. The main task of the five female and five male Q-Cells employees is to monitor the production processes for solar cells manufacture in terms of quality and yield.
Minister Haselhoff said: “Congratulations to all graduates: Both you and your employer will benefit from this qualification. At the same time, I am delighted that this practical training programme is evidence of the sustainability of a project subsidized by the state as well as the EU“.
The IHK practical training programme was developed by IHK Bildungszentrum Halle-Dessau GmbH (IHK BIZ) and Q-Cells SE over the past two years as part of the ”Growth through industry-specific qualifications” and using resources provided by Q-Cells for this purpose. Work is already underway on the next training course and the development of a further IHK practical training program for specialist staff in the solar industry.
”We will continue to invest in qualified specialists”, said Nedim Cen, CEO of QCells SE. “The training programmes we are developing in conjunction with IHK Bildungszentrum benefit not only our company but the entire solar industry.”
IHK BIZ Managing Director, Bärbel Schärff: “As a subsidiary of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, we have been helping companies in our region since 1991 to provide them with the specialist staff they need. Our proximity to practice is a major factor in our success.”
